A New Year, A New Beginning

Happy New Year!

Can't believe it's 2013 already... 2012 has been a big and busy year for me. The year felt really short, But every time I think back it felt like a long year.

As many of you may know my contract with Rainbows End Theme Park has now come to an end. My sister Lisa and I performed our Duo Juggling act for the past 14 months with 2 shows per day (Sometimes 3) every weekends and daily during the school holidays. We even did 74 shows non stop for 37 days during the summer school holidays (Late December 2011 to end of January 2012) Now our brand new Flaming Phoenix Troupe has safely arrived from China and their new resident show at the park is now underway! I had the chance to check out the show on premiere day and I have to say some of the act's skill level is really high!

It was very sad to say farewell to my team mates, We had become really close during our time together. We were like a family. They have now gone back to China and will soon move on to their new contracts. Atleast we can still keep in touch via Chinese social networks QQ and Weixin (Also known as Wechat)

For now I am on a break from regular work and back to doing Corporate shows, Festivals and Functions as usual. I now have some time to develop new skills and acts which I look forward to start performing soon.

It has been a great experience performing regularly at Rainbows End and a pleasure to work with the wonderful people at the Entertainment Department.

I look forward to the next time I step onto the Rainbows End Centre Stage to perform.
